- Do not carry or consume narcotic drugs, cigarettes or alcohol
- It is expected that the trekkers behave civilly, show respect to nature and fellow Trekkers and cooperate with each other
- Follow Leave No Trace ' principle, never throw en-route or at camp anything you have brought
- Collect all waste in the garbage bag & bring it back. If you find any left behind by others, be good enough to collect that too
- Do not Litter, shout, spit around, sing or use transistors or music systems during the trek
- Do not collect any souvenirs such as plants or animal parts from the forest
- Consuming any medicine without a doctor’s prescription is hazardous. DO NOT hide if you have any health related problems
- Inform the group if you are allergic to anything, or if you are sleepwalker or you have phobias
- If a trekker is lost, he/she should stay at the same spot and keep blowing the whistle at regular interval, whistle can be heard far in the forest and he/she will be located and should never react in panic
- Make cat-holes required to attend to Nature ' s call, after using throw in the toilet paper if any, cover the cat-hole by pushing in some soil into the pit

- The trekking group should plan in advance and work out the pace of the trek from point to point, and reach the destination well before dark
- The trekking group should move together in a single-line formation, with no one going too far ahead or behind
- Be independent, carry one ' s own pack
- You backpack should not to exceed 15 kgs

- Wear comfortable light cotton trousers/pants/tracks
- Wear light full sleeve T-shirt if you want to avoid a sun-tan
- Wear only sneakers/sports shoe for the trek
- Hat/cap/bandanna to ward off sunlight
- Sweater/ Jacket in winter
- Wind cheater / Rain coat during rains

- Carry a single Rucksack/Backpack
- Extra 2-3 pairs - Socks, Undergarments, T-shirts, Trousers/Tracks, Towel
- Extra pair of sandals/slippers (do not wear during the trek)
- Water bottle with at least 2-3 liter drinking water per day
- Toiletries – Sun screen lotion, Soap, Toothpaste, Hair brush, Toilet paper, etc
- 1 set of - Plate, Spoon and Mug
- Garbage bags for taking back all wastes generated
- Take dry snacks like - Dry fruits, chocolates
- Easy-to-cook / ready-to-eat food items
- Glucose & Electral packets
- Personal Medicines (as needed)
- Torch with two new batteries
- Binoculars & camera
- Whistle
- Scribbling pad and pen
- Sleeping bag & Sleeping mat
- Mosquito repellent
- Tobacco, salt, etc, to ward off leeches during monsoon
